Este proyecto es una alegoría a una crónica de Ray Bradbury o a una película de Chris Maker.
La oportunidad que surge tras el cansancio es un ejercicio de escritura performativa (en proceso) inspirado en una investigación visual y recopilación de archivos llevada a cabo por Yunet desde su llegada a Europa en 2018.
El punto de partida es una colección de postales enviadas desde Cuba (entre 1960-1990) a familiares y amigos de Europa y Estados Unidos. Muchas de estas postales contienen imágenes que reflejan momentos (sociales, culturales, económicos) vinculados a la revolución cubana. Además, van acompañadas de textos personales e íntimos que hoy se han convertido también en testigos de un sistema político y de una época utópica y fallida.
Durante un tiempo, Yunet manipuló estas imágenes, las acarició, las olfateó y creó infinitas historias. Descubrió cómo la soledad de ese tiempo era capaz de abrir narrativas alternativas, que, a partir del oficio de buscar y recopilar postales, conformaban una metodología para relecturas del pasado y para establecer vínculos con el presente y el futuro. Todo ello a través del cruce de la ficción poética con las historias de vida de las personas que las escribieron.
La oportunidad que surge tras el cansancio es la propuesta de un viaje en el que, a través de materiales diversos como papel, tinta, caligrafía, sellos postales, entre otros, se puede construir un espacio en movimiento que sirva como pretexto para explorar y compartir estas nuevas historias. Además, se indagarán otros formatos como la performance, la instalación, la conferencia performativa, las artes visuales y el cine.

The opportunity that arises after tiredness is a performative writing exercise (still in progress) inspired by a visual research and archival collection conducted by Yunet since her arrival in Europe in 2018.
The starting point is a collection of postcards sent from Cuba (between 1960-1990) to family and friends in Europe and the United States. Many of these postcards contain images (with a strong ideological political message) that reflect moments (social, cultural, economic) linked to the revolution and its process. In addition, they are accompanied by personal and intimate texts that today have also become witnesses of a political system and a utopian and failed era.
For a time, Yunet worked with these images, caressed them, sniffed them, and created infinite stories. She discovered how the solitude of that time was capable of opening alternative narratives, which, from the craft of searching and collecting postcards, formed a methodology for rereading the past and establishing links with the present and the future. All this through the crossing of poetic fiction with the life stories of the people who wrote them.
The opportunity that arises after tiredness is the proposal of a journey in which, through diverse materials such as paper, ink, calligraphy, postage stamps, among others, a space in movement can be built that serves as a pretext to explore and share these new stories. In addition, other formats such as performance, installation, performative lecture, visual arts and film will be explored.
