M.P.U.C.M.L. address the issue of immobility, not only physical but also spiritual. Five characters try to escape from their island condition: political, economic and social circumstances in 21st century Cuba. A KRIM-218 television set shows a distorted reality (although it can be heard clearly). The characters: common people, specimens of the «unnecessary representation of pain». The plot: an avalanche of words that will «suffocate» the reader/viewer in this television series, whose true protagonist is speech. A speech of resistance that, with a machine-gun blow, confuses with unusual narrative techniques for the theatrical genre. From an apparent state of stillness-violence, the author manages to overflow the «wonderful and terrible» idea of inhabiting the island as an act of faith and resignation.
